I applied on Indeed, within a couple of weeks the hiring manager and reached out to schedule an initial interview. This process took place during the middle of the pandemic so the interview process occurred primarily via zoom. The first interview was with the hiring manager and it was about 30 minutes. Within a couple of weeks I received an e-mail from HR to set up a time for a panel interview on zoom that consisted of meeting with 3 individuals at NYPL where I was asked a set of questions. While the staff had to ask the assigned questions, they did make time to have more of a conversation and to ask follow up questions. Throughout the entire interview process, all NYPL provided great communication and was very thorough on what to expect. Within a few days of my final interview, I was offered the position and I was invited to meet with HR on a video call to review the job offer. HR communicated everything I needed to know and everything was organized.
