Had my first interview in January 2021 with a current research assistant. Second interview 2 weeks later with both research assistants. Had a third interview about a week later with the MDs and PhDs on the team, and met with the Principal Investigator the same week. I was offered the job the first day of March. Found out 350 people applied for the position, so it is competitive. Questions asked were, “why our lab specifically?” and, “how does this work fit into your future career plan?” “How does your past research experience prepare you for this role?”

Very easy and the interviewer was friendly. I went through two rounds of interviews, the first with the lab coordinator and the second with the PI. Shortly after my interview with the PI, I was emailed with a job offer.
