I was contacted by HR via phone and given an impromptu phone interview after hours. This was a slight surprise and I was caught off guard, but I must have passed the screening because I was invited for an in person interview. I met with HR and with two members of the department. The questions were fair and straightforward and I felt as though I connected with the department members and we had a lot in common and much to discuss. They must have not felt the same way. They said the interview process would take them two to three weeks, but it was nearly two months before I heard back and was not offered the position.
