I remember going to the office, at Wapping, and chatting with an HR officer. It was a sort of pre-screener before going to the department to which I'd applied, to chat with the relevant Director. Apparently, some people don't realise that The Sun is run by the same company as The Times and they get a tad perturbed that they'll be working with tabloid as well as broadsheet newspapers. Anyway, it wasn't a problem for me. I told them I really wanted the job and they were happy to hire me. Mind you, it was an entry-level position. (There are tons of directors and editors and they all have secretaries and PAs.) This was a long time ago... but I still hear good things about News Corp companies - from the employee perspective.
