Multi stage including less technical and more "getting to know you" chats from 1 and 2up managers, then a lengthy technical interview from senior engineers which included a design task and a very thorough dive into skills and knowledge. The last time I was interviewed this thoroughly was in the military where they found exactly where your limits of knowledge were, which for me was reassuring because I knew that they were then able to make a well informed decision.
