There was a scheduled interview for a tier 1 IT role for this company at a predetermined time and I was late by about 3 minutes due to an unforeseen technical difficulty. Immediately, I messaged the interviewer saying that there has been a problem with the application. Not even 5 minutes have passed and the interviewer decided to cancel the interview right then and there. I was quite surprised and appalled by the interviewer's incompetence for leniency when it comes to being on time for an interviewer. I understand that time is important but a little leeway would've been welcomed. Overall, I am disappointed that I didn't get the opportunity for the interview, and to make matters worse when he messaged me back he had said that he had gone to another meeting since I apparently didn't show up. Puts things in perspective on what he originally had plans for. Edit: Only putting "very difficult" on the interview difficulty of this since it's required to post this review as I guess it was very difficult since I was looking forward to the job but didn't get the interview.
