Entrevista
There were about three rounds in the interview process. First was a phone conversation with a Senior Manager that was relatively quick and easy. This was followed by a two-part interview with two other staff members, which included a behavioral interview and a case study exercise. Lastly, there was a data analysis take-home, which was concluded with a presentation to their team. This take-home assignment was intensive and required a significant amount of time. Up until the last interview, Next Street's HR was responsive. However, that was a month ago, and it has been crickets. I did not expect to be ghosted.

Entrevista
I found the process to be straightforward and enjoyed speaking with the team, all of whom seemed very passionate about their work. The negative experience came when I made it to the final round, had an interview scheduled, received documents in order to prepare for the final presentation, only to have my interview canceled when they decided to go with another candidate, without taking the time to interview me as they originally planned. It struck me as disrespectful of my time and unprofessional, which is a shame because I think the company is doing powerful work.

We work diligently to ensure that candidates have a positive experience, and we apologize for this instance. We aim to be efficient, effective communicators and realize that this falls short of that standard. We recognize that your time is valuable and will use this feedback to ensure all candidates have ample information in every step of the recruitment process.

Entrevista
The interview process was lengthy and disorganized. You could go weeks without hearing from Next Street (even when you wrote to them asking about your status) only to randomly get an email congratulating you on moving forward to the next round. You are only really allowed to chat with Noelani via email and are discouraged from reaching out directly to anyone else on the team, even folks you previously chatted with.
I accepted another offer before Next Street even reached the final stage of their interview. I went through a 3 interview process between interview 2 and 3 in Next Street's process.
It was mostly talking with people at the organization-- hiring manager, HR, a coworker. The people are lovely and passionate about their work. I think this company is probably amazing, but their hiring process is deeply broken.
