Candidatei-me por meio de uma agência de recrutamento. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Nextep Systems (Troy, MI) em fev. de 2018
Entrevista
1) Started with introductions, shaking hands, 1 on 1 with IT Manager.
2) Was asked what questions I had for him. I had about 10 great questions about the company operations, employees, and a few specific to manager.
3) Asked the manager if he had any questions for me. He had only a few, said that I had already answered most of what he planned to ask.
4) Interview ended with manager telling me he both like what he saw in my resume and what he heard from me during the interview. Said I would be hearing from NEXTEP by the end of the following week to schedule second interview to meet the company owner.
Within two days, I received a phone call from my recruiter stating that they decided that I was over-qualified and not a fit for the team when I was led to believe the opposite before I left the first interview. I have interviewed enough times where no one EVER falsely led me to believe I was moving onto the next and final phase. This is a rude and unprofessional way to handle an interview. If the interviewer does not know where the first interview will lead, he/she should NEVER lead a candidate to believe he/she is moving forward until it's decided one way or the other. I can take a rejection, but that was purely a slam, like telling a lie!

Concerned about my being over-qualified for position, was asked if I understood pay scale and job responsibilities. Wondered if I might get bored with the work.
