I had a very productive meeting with Dr. xxx. We discussed the role in detail and reached a clear consensus on all technical and professional points. I left the interview feeling that we were in full agreement regarding the project's direction. However, since that meeting, there has been no further correspondence or follow-up, and my subsequent outreach has gone unanswered.
