Interviewed via a temp agency- met with department head; Interview was very non traditional as she did not ask any typical interview questions. In fact, in reflection, she didn't ask me any questions about my professional experience or ability to perform the job. She described challenges taking place in the dept. due to a change in software systems. SHE seemed annoyed by the challenges and left me feeling that as a new employee I would surely face struggles. 15 min into the interview she abruptly ended the interview with a sense of her being "over it".

I had two interviews at NIA and I found it odd that the second interview was the same as the first. The questions were exactly the same, but I was interviewed by different people. They both lasted for an hour each and the questions were quite challenging for a temporary entry level position.

Entrevista
I had an underwhelming experience with the recruitment process at this company, primarily due to a lack of effective communication. The process began when a recruiter called me and left a voicemail. I promptly returned the call on the same day, but unfortunately, I was unable to reach her and had to leave a voicemail. After that, I had to make a second attempt to get in touch with her, which took four days for her to respond. When we finally connected, the conversation was disappointing. The recruiter posed what seemed like trick questions, which was a bit perplexing and unexpected. Subsequently, despite the initial contact, I never received any follow-up communication from the company, leaving me feeling ghosted. Effective and transparent communication is vital in any recruitment process, and it's disappointing to experience such a lack of responsiveness and clarity. I believe that companies should ensure that candidates receive timely and respectful feedback, even if they are not selected for a role, in order to maintain a positive candidate experience.
