I first did a sit down interview with the assistant beauty manager and had a great interview. She was wonderful to talk to and I felt great after I left. Then I interviewed over the phone with the beauty manager. She rescheduled the day of, 20 mins prior to the interview. Asked me to reschedule, I wrote back and agreed, and then she never showed. I emailed her and she made up a lie about not seeing my reply. Right. Then finally we connect. then I am asked to interview with the store manager. I waited almost 30 mins for him to come to the interview. Then I was contacted by the beauty manager and told that they couldn't offer me the beauty stylist position, but there was an INTERIM counter position. I told her that I would be interested in it and she said she would get back to me after speaking to HR, because apparently they thought I had worked there before and needed to check on that. Isn't that something you do beforehand?? I wait a week and I reach out, and she emails me back finally, tells me she's going on vacation for a week and that the job is dependent on whether or not the account executive from Laura Mercier agreed that I can take the interim position. So now this is the 4th interview I am asked to do, and I was offered the position to find out that now it depends on someone not employed by Nordstrom at all. I had an accident and asked if we could reschedule the interview with the account executive and she never replied and neither did anyone from Nordstrom. After all the mishaps and waiting over a 2 month period for a job, that's the professionalism and thanks I get.
