Had an interview with the manager of the Logistics Department took about 2 hours because it was a group of us who were all interviewed one by one. The interview was really laid back and she made me feel very comfortable. It took almost a week and a half for her to call and say I got the job THANK GOD! (I only had an in person interview no phone interview)

It was quick, straightforward, and efficient. An in person hiring event was occurring. A group interview took place with 1 hiring manager screening multiple candidates. Job was offered on the spot to fit candidates.

online application and resume attached. Completed an assesment test online at the same time. They called me the next day and scheduled an interview for the following week and emailed me consent to background check me which I filled out and sent back immediately. I was told face to face when interview was completed to either call interviewer back if I did not hear from him OR he would call me. He called me (a college graduate with years and years of work experience and a solid work ethic oozing with character and integrity), and said I was not "the right match" HUH???
I sat stunned in my car for 30 minutues. I guess they do not want any one working for them in their 50s.

Young male interviewer very friendly asked all questions with the beginning phrase "Tell me about a time when you...... 'helped a co worker or customer or went above and beyond' There were at least 3 questions like this.
First question of interview was "Why do you want to work for Nordstroms?"
Last questions were " What is your *availability? and do you have any questions for me?"
