It was a long drawn out (11 months) process from 1st phone interview to written offer. Interviews were by phone until the finalist interviews (on campus) with panels of interviewers. I appreciated the hiring manager’s transparency throughout the process, which was tough due to length and uncertainty. The interview questions themselves were always very fair and focused on measurable skills and outcomes suited to the position. I also had to complete several tasks related to the position I was interviewing for in a time-limited segment. That was intimidating but really helped me assess if I wanted the job (...and, I assume, let them know I wouldn’t be terrible in the job).
