The first interview was very relaxed, normal questions. Then came the take home portion. Lots of questions and scenarios. The vibe of the second interview changed dramatically! There was barely a mention of the assignment I had done. After the interview, I was told that I would hear back within two weeks, it was much longer than that, and would have continued had I not reached out for status on the hiring process. I was told “HR was very slow”. So I waited another couple of weeks and reached out again only to be told I was not chosen for the position. They should do better with keeping candidates posted, this entire process felt as if I was being strung along. Very unnecessary. You lose good candidates that way.
