Emailed a invite to interview and asked to pick a time on a specific date. Showed to the interview and waited 15 min before I entered a room with 8 people interviewing me. I was surprised to see this during an 1st interview. I usually expect panel interviews during the 2nd or 3rd interview. They proceeded to go around the room and just ask generic questions about my experience. I was so taken back by 8 people being in the room I was thrown off. If I had know this going in, I would've been more prepared. There was no conversation. They would ask a question and I would answer and they would all type on their laptops.
