I had a phone screen first with Molly and then on Monday she emailed me back to set up a second interview. This was a panel interview on Wednesday in the afternoon. It was three people, a man and two women. One of the women was having issues getting her video to work for video calls. The other woman was frowning and came off angry. She began to ask me many questions about the companies I'd work for before and about jobs that I never had. I'm not sure if they were even relevant to the job that I was applying for. I got nervous and confused about why she was even asking these questions and so unpersonable in a video interview. Interviews are hard enough without making people feel uncomfortable. I did not appreciate that. I was able to recover and pull through the interview. Which shows I can work with people being difficult for now reason, and being thrown for a loop. The gentleman was very professional and personable and so was the woman who was not on camera. Why the other lady was frowning and acting like she was annoyed to even be there. I have no idea. She asked about gaps in my employment which is a ridiculous question given the job market over the past 5 years. She then argued with me about the length of time I had been at some of my previous jobs. The woman not on camera proceeded to tell me that the hardest part of the job was being able to navigate through programs and tools. I said I don't foresee that having issues since at my previous jobs I worked on multiple projects at the same time all requiring different tools. They are technical support level 1 was overseas in the Philippines. I said I don't foresee that as a problem I've always worked closely with teams from over sees in, Philippines, India and Sri Lanka. They have always been wonderful and I've never had any issue with communicating with them.
She mentioned that the training is 6 to 8 weeks and the first weeks your chain would level 1 and then you do some shadowing and they put you on the phone and there you train with level two.
The gentleman mentioned about the level 2 job I was applying for, that they have fix the issue at that level. I then asked about why they had mentioned a level 3. I then asked what was their job and the gentleman said that there is only four of them and they work projects. They said there are 30 people on the team and that they are looking to hire three new positions. I thought the interview went a little short at 30 minutes, but I was able to answer all the questions. It seemed to go okay except for the irrelevant weirdness with the second female interviewer. I apologized and acknowledged that I got a little nervous and the gentleman said that was fine. I did great. I then sent a follow-up thank you! Email to Molly and since I didn't have the other three interviewers emails I asked her to please convey my thanks for allowing me to interview with them. Molly never responded and then the next day I got a standard rejection email. She could have at least sent off a short response, but nothing. The job is still open on LinkedIn though...
I wouldn't say the process was hard but some of the managers and recruiters are clearly unprofessional. These kind of bad behaviors from companies need to be stopped. They need to show mutual respect and professionalism.

The gentleman asked me about what is something that could happen at work that would make me angry. The grumpy woman asked me what I had done as far as building var sheets in my previous job and what I knew about isos
Started with a long phone call with a Recuriter’s then I was set up for a zoom call to discuss the role with a manager. The zoom call lasted 5 minutes and I had no time to ask any questions before he ended the call and I was asked to drive 45 minutes for an in person interview.
Upon showing up for the interview the interviewer was not prepared and I had to sit in front of him for 15 minutes while he sat on his computer. Office and desk were a mess with inappropriate meeting materials sitting on said desk in between us.
Best part was at the end they mentioned they are comfortable not PAYING their sales people a SALARY. I don’t see how they think it’s ok for an employees livelihood to solely revolve around a products ability to work.
When I was able to ask questions about the role, pay, and sales process, the interviewer seemed to get annoyed I was asking said questions and the answers he gave would make no sense and wouldn’t answer my concern.
All in all this seems like a sales org with a revolving door culture when it comes to the sales team. Nothing but red flags throughout the interview process, beware, huge waste of time.

Quite a friendly interview, a few questions with a twist on Javascript and Java. The main issue is System Design. Some behavioural issues, teamwork. And the main introduction about yourself.
