I applied for this job back in 2022 on Indeed, and received an email to do a Microsoft Teams interview. What was weird about this interview was that I was interviewing with the loan HR rep, and the former IT Support Specialist, who was currently working another job. She also was the HR rep's best friend, so there was that whole angle too.
I was told during the interview that the former IT Support Specialist would be returning to NTIC in July of 2022 as the new IT Director, and the position I was interviewing for would be reporting to her.
I was asked a series of very basic IT questions, and then asked why I wanted to leave my current job at the time, and what my desired salary was. A week later, I received an offer with the my desired salary, and I accepted it.
At the time of this writing I was laid off in July 2025, as the CFO decided it somehow made more sense to pay an MSP my annual salary on a monthly basis to do my job.
