The entire process consisted of an unscheduled call from the vice president of the college. She talked to me for about an hour about my previous experience, my teaching philosophy in general, and what I would bring to Northwest Tech if hired. It was a very painless experience and I was surprised to get an offer so quickly. When I left my full time position, however, there was a large number of applicants and so the process may have been adjusted to suit the current situation.
