3 panel interviews and sometimes you have to commute to a different county to complete one. The last one is with the executive director who is particularly rude and offensive. She purposely tries to get you to doubt yourself and your experience.

Entrevista
The usual suspects. You need to go to their main office in Bellingham to interview. Wait for a little bit and then the HR person comes to get you. One thing that's a little different, they give you a skills list and ask you to study it before the interview. They simply ask you what two skills from that list are the most important for the role and to give an example of when you've done that skill. Interviewed with Malinda and Scott. Both very welcoming and do their best to put your nerves at ease. The questions were fairly standard but be prepared to give examples of how you work with processes, documentation and how you work with different types of people. Specifically young people. After the questions, there's a writing exercise that asks you what went well, what was challenging and what you think you conveyed well. If you move forward then you have to interview with the Executive Director and they warn you that she can be tough to interview with. Gives me a bit of a bad feeling that that would indicate a toxic boss situation :-/ But the people she's hired seem nice enough so maybe not. Good luck with your interview, you'll do great!

What about training and recruiting do you find attractive? We have to abide by federal requirements, how do you make sure your work is accurate? How would you market our services to local businesses? How does *insert role* from your history relate to the workforce coordinator role? How did you handle mistakes? How does your degree relate to this role? What is your learning style? We have a lot of documentation handling, how do you make sure you handle documentation and meet deadlines? *Gives scenario* what would you prioritize and why? And what would you do if you had extra work that needed to be done outside working hours? What kind of environment do you like to work in?

They have the mindset that they only get to interview you, not open to having a two-way conversation. When asked to describe their management style, the response given, this isn’t an informational interview we’re here to interview you. As an agency that helps people find employment their disposition is very unprofessional.
