This stage focused on assessing general fit, communication skills, and alignment with the group’s research interests. Subsequently, the discussion transitioned into a more in-depth evaluation of my academic background and prior research. I was asked to elaborate on my published work, including the scientific rationale, methodologies employed, and key findings. The conversation also explored my ability to critically analyze research in the field.
