Wonderful interview experience with the team NCL. They were very personable and organized. Not intimidating or cookie cutter. They appear to truly care about those joining the team and the embodiment of their brand.

Attended hiring event alongside multiple candidates. We were told what the job will be like, benefits, and about the company.
I did two rounds which consisted of describing previous experience to behavioral questions. I was disappointed that I had to wait so long to be interviewed, I sat and waited for over an hour given the multiple candidates being interviewed at the event.

I applied for the position on Indeed. The following day I received an email stating that I was moving forward with the hiring process since I met their requirements. The email had an attachment that had me choose a date and time for a 15 minute phone interview. I aced the interview since I focused on my sales jobs from rental car agencies and cable television. The person doing the interview was honest with me about the hours...Monday - Thursday: 10:50 am - 8 pm & Friday 9 am - 6 pm. She did also talk about working weekends. She said I would be looking at working 50 - 60 hours per week. Having worked commission jobs before I expected this. Nobody said you have to do this forever but if you can put in four years minimum and bank all the extra money...you'll appreciate it in your future. This is the kind of job that can make you debt free and retire early. Anyway she told me about guaranteed commission of $2k for the first six months. Just a note for any of you new to the commission game...if they are offering $2k guaranteed commission then that means that $2k/month commission is the bottom of the barrel. You can count on so much more once you get established. Also she told me about two bonuses per year around $4k. The hourly pay is biweekly and is basically minimum wage for the state you live in. You also get health insurance, vision and dental. Days off seem pretty standard. My second interview will be a zoom call. My computer doesn't have a camera or speakers set up, but I have three days to fix that. For those of you on the fence about this job and the hours...just remember that you are planning for your future. If you work all the time then you can't spend money as fast. Also, if you contribute 20% of your pay to your 401k once you are debt free, you could easily retire early. Plus, think of all the money you will save with 95% off your cruise each year & 70% off for friends and family.
