Fui entrevistado pela Novartis (Hyderābād) em abr. de 2019

Looks like Novartis standard of recruitment has really fallen down. I have been applying for various positions at Novartis and all i get is an automated email stating someone else was preferred over me. I recently applied for a position of Client Services Manager which exactly matches my current role. The job had only 6 applicants on LinkedIN. The recruited reposted the job and the number of applicants then reached 20. I expected to be called for an interview. But, even with just 6 applicants i never got a call or response from the HR. Looks like Novartis recruiters are playing up like always, may be some backdoor way of hiring. I remember an incidence that happened 2 years ago, i was called for an interview at Novartis and i happened to see a recruiter calling up a friend and reminding him/her about the walk-in drive and asking them to come after an hour, while people like us were waiting since 8 AM in the morning, just to be told that my profile doesn't match. Such a shame!!

A recruiter should be qualified enough to schedule an interview.
The interview process took 3 months, 3 rounds of interviews with several team members. After the 3rd round, I was starting to think they weren’t really hiring. What a waste of my time.
Teams are very knowledgeable and welcoming. Asked a lot of technical questions. Scenario based questions were decent. It was a good experience. HR also asks decent amount of questions. Prepare and stay positive throughout. Don’t be too serious when answering

How did you handle a task that was given last minute on top of other priorities

Certainly! Here is the standardized version:

The interview process consisted of three rounds. After the final round, the HR representative did not provide any results or respond to follow-up emails, which I found very unprofessional. Replying to follow-up emails is important, regardless of whether the outcome is successful or not, as it provides valuable feedback to the candidate. If this had occurred after the first round and resulted in my elimination, it might have been justified. However, after investing time in three rounds, such behavior is not appropriate for a people-friendly MNC like Novartis.
Despite the significant time I invested in this process, my follow-up communication was ignored, and I was effectively ghosted. This behavior is disappointing, especially considering how smooth the interviews were and how friendly and lively the team appeared. HR representatives are not upholding the brand's reputation in the market through such unprofessional handling of recruitment processes. It is very unprofessional to consider no-reply as a sufficient response in every situation.
