Novartis has 2 business units which hire for Clinical Data Management: IIS and Onco. You might be interviewed by either of them for open positions. I received a call for interview after 5 months of application. They are a large company and receive many applications. It might take time, but if you have a good profile they will get back to you. The interview might be held in Hyderabad, Mumbai or any other city. If you need to travel for the interview, they will pay you economy airfare. You will be called by a HR rep to fix the interview. You will be sent a form to fill your personal details and send them before the interview. You will need to provide contact details of your supervisors in the current and previous organisations. When you go for the interview, you will be given a written test. It will be based on data validation. Then you will be called for the interview. It can last from 20-40 minutes. The interview panel will have 1-2 people. They will ask you questions based on your resume and the general CDM process. If you have done the work, you can answer all the questions. Novartis has a very different CDM process. They will explain how it works in their company. Please dress appropriately. Make a good impression. Do not bluff. They will catch you if you have not done the work that you claim on your CV. If you get selected you will get a call from the HR rep, who will then fix your interview with the HR partner for designation and salary negotiation. You will receive an offer letter soon after your background check is completed.
