I was contacted via email shortly after sending in my resume and cover letter, with a time for an interview. After arriving at the building, there was a short wait and then I was called in to chat with the hiring manager. He asked only a few questions before claiming that he was extremely impressed and would hire me on the spot. I learned from my coworkers that this statement was typical for all new hires.

The interviewer was very polite and friendly. The main problem was, I just learned during the interview that the salary system in the advert was completely different than actual practice. So it was utterly frustrating and misdirecting.
