I was approached by someone on LinkedIn and submitted my profile wherein I was invited to begin a 4-step interview process which was communicated to me would begin with a HR culture-fit interview, followed by a more technical conversation with the hiring manager, then a case-study presentation, and a final round with a manager of sorts. My first round was a technical interview which was rescheduled, and involved someone who asked the generic questions, and then gave me a coding exam. The coding language wasn't one that is on my profile, but I was told to go ahead and do it in whichever language I felt most comfortable. At this point I still have no idea what the role entails because the interviewer ended the meeting on time, without giving me the chance to ask any questions. The next day I was invited to their case study interview, which reads as an issue they currently have and have yet to solve. Feels like they interview people to get the answer to a problem they currently have.
