I completed two interviews - the first being with the Recruiter, and the second being with the hiring manager and a Lead Recruiter/Talent Associate. I was notified that I'd be interviewing with the VP of Talent Acquisition. My interview was canceled due to technical issues and I was notified that it would be rescheduled. The interview was never rescheduled - I followed up via email once, then called the Recruiter, who said the HM would be getting back to me within the next day. I didn't hear from them until two days later when they notified me that interviewing had been put on hold, that I was still a top candidate, and that they'd have an update for me in the coming weeks. A few days later, I received an automated rejection email from their ATS. I emailed the HM to ask if it was a mistake based on what they'd just told me. I never received a reply. It was very frustrating to not have the opportunity to complete my interviews, as I'm sure the other candidates who were moved to the final stage did. My assumption is that rescheduling my interview would have inconvenienced their timeline, and that they already had a preferred candidate that they were ready to offer the position.
