I came in prepared and confident with my answers. However, she told me outright she was interviewing me because she was confused as to why I was applying bc my major didn't match the job description.
Oh! Okay. I guess its a chance to prove myself.
Nope. The women didn't even give me a chance.
Throughout the whole interview, she seemed disinterested and not at all willing to talk with me, with no engagement or followup questions about any of my answers. Whatever, maybe I'm just not what they are looking for.
All of a sudden, this woman came to LIFE when we somehow started talking about her kids. I am not kidding, we straight up yapped about this women's kids for the last 20 minutes.
Now, I'm not an expert in conducing interviews. However, I don't think you're doing your job right when you start to talk about the colleges your kids are thinking about attending AND their struggles with parenting with the college interviewee.
Also, I would have liked the amount of times I've talked about my parents and their parenting style, to be zero. It is now at one. Hooray!
