      Candidatura

      Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 8 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Objective Paradigm (Chicago, IL).

      Entrevista

      A series of phone calls and an on-site interview with the firm's leadership. The calls were mostly behaviorally based at first. As I advanced in the process, I grew to really like the leadership for the team I was referred to. I was then advanced to an on-site final round. I met with the firm's senior leadership, and one of them was a total tool. I learned later on that there was no real role for me at the company, and they were wasting my time - interviewing me IN CASE they got additional clientele, which they didn't. They then attempted to peddle me out as a contract candidate to their clients to at least try to make some money off me- which is something I told them I was explicitly against on the first call. Super unprofessional and dishonest, I told them I was no longer interested and pulled myself out of the process.

      Thank you for your review and we appreciate your feedback on our interview process. In our industry, things can move quickly. A position can be open one day and then filled the next. We sincerely value our candidates time and would never want you to feel like we wasted it. The opportunity was simply no longer available. We are in the business of connecting people, so our intention was not to "peddle" you out. It was to find you a different opportunity that could help benefit you. We appreciate your review and will take the steps necessary to ensure other candidates do not have a similar experience. Thank you for your time and we wish you the best.

      I received a recruitment message from Objective Paradigm titled 'Potential Shakeups at <my company>' that lied and said they had inside information that my job may be vulnerable, so I should look for new work. This was a lie, and is deeply grimy. It shows Objective Paradigm is not really concerned about their candidates: is it willing to lie to them and make them feel insecure from the very first first message. Is this really who you want as your recruiter? Seems like they fit all the worst stereotypes.

      Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. In no way and under no circumstances is that type of messaging appropriate for our recruiters. We are going to look into seeing if we can identify the person on our team that needs coaching and better leadership to understand why that was deeply inappropriate.       Entrevista

      Initially communication was great with HR. The interview included speaking to a variety of managers from the company. Everyone was informative and overall friendly. I was told afterwards they would all meet to discuss my interview and get back to me. However, I heard nothing for about three weeks. I returned the call received from HR and did not hear back that day. I also sent an email. HR called back a few days later which I found unprofessional.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We agree, you did not have an optimal interview experience since we did not meet common communication expectations for a candidate in the interview process. We certainly could have done a better job with letting you know where we were in the process, why we were delayed in being able to me a decision and getting back to you promptly.
