After a few emails I booked a call to speak with the recruiter about the role. In my prior emails I asked about salary range for the role and was told there wasn't really one, that it was open to discussion. During the call I was asked for my salary expectations, I said £45k+ and was advised this was way over their budget for the role! I advised they should amend the job title as I felt it was misleading. Digital Marketing Manager should be £45k+, if you're looking to pay in the £30ks you're looking at Exec level... I was also shocked that their working hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, which indicates a 40-45h work week - that seems excessive in the current climate.
