Interview went well. Had good conversation - open and somewhat informal but pertinent conversation with recruiter. At the end of the interview that lasted about 45 minutes I was told the process is at the beginning and a few more candidates were on the list to speak with (no, problem, I understand). I was told it would be up to 2 weeks before I hear back on any next steps. After not hearing anything at end of 2 weeks I sent an email on 16th day to check in and get a status update - Heard nothing back, crickets. One week later a follow-up request for any type of update was sent and again - nothing back, ghosted! Now been a month. The level of disrespect, unprofessional has to be a very telling reflection of the company culture as a whole and certainly, immaturity of its recruiting team. I would stay clear of Odeko at all costs. If you do happen find yourself engaged with Odeko don't take them at their word or trust they will act on their commitments. Disappointing to say the least.
