Emailed required materials in response to online ad; was contacted quite awhile later, in October/November and had first interview. Took them awhile to schedule a second, although I kept following up afterward. Once second interview was complete, an offer was made and from there things moved pretty quickly. First interview was with direct supervisors of dept I had applied to. They were friendly, young and relatable. This interview was like any other, but I felt fairly comfortable and confident with them. Second round was with them and the GM--a little more nerve-wracking. He was friendly, but his more silent demeanor made things feel a bit awkward and jilted (although, he's not like that all the time).

I was contacted by email to schedule a phone interview only a couple hours after I submitted my application. The first interview was with a woman who was the head of the the media and marketing department and it lasted about 30 minutes. The questions were pretty straightforward and related to the position, so I was asked about my editing and writing experience. I was then contacted by email to have a second phone interview, this time with the same woman as well as with the editorial director. They asked some similar straightforward questions and then some more specific questions about my resume. After a couple days they called back and offered me the job.
