Entrevista
The first step was a screening interview with the recruiter that lasted about 30 minutes. The focus was on my background and if/how I thought it fit with the role. There was also an opportunity to ask questions. The next step was a call with the hiring manager during which we discussed the role, my background, how my skills fit with the role, and any questions I had. From there, I spoke with a member of the team and three people who work with the team collaboratively. Each of their focus areas was different and ranged from how I solve problems, how I collaborate with peers, my career goals, and my ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Tell me about a time that you had to create something from scratch. What was it? What was the process you used? What was the outcome?
Applier beware! I had a disappointing interview experience with Okta. Initially recommended, offered the role, and accepted it. However, they rescinded the offer later, citing reevaluation. Communication broke down, emails went unanswered/ ghosted, and internal confusion emerged. The rollercoaster of miscommunication left me deeply disappointed in Okta's professionalism. This experience reflects their values and culture negatively. Others should be cautious about Okta's unprofessionalism.
