Rather unclear process, with long lags of communication between steps. Phone screen went well with recruiter, then 3 weeks until first interview scheduled with a director, not hiring manager. Both screening and interview were positive and both said they would recommend me going forward in the process. Next, met with hiring manager. He was unstructured, joined video call 10 minutes late with no apology, just a statement I don't understand how busy he is. The interview was mostly him questioning why I would leave my current role (big name software company, great pay, and I have been a top performer for 5 years). He looked at other places I worked, also top tier software/cloud companies, and he didn't understand why I was in the market, and acted as though I was falsifying my credentials. He then asked 3 template questions while displaying little interest to my responses, and ended the call with no indication of next steps or otherwise. Never heard another thing from Recruiter or anyone and it's been three weeks.
