I applied for the Corporate Controller role in July and heard back fairly quickly. I was asked to complete an online assessment (which took a couple of hours) before moving forward to a video interview with HR. The interview went smoothly, and I was told I’d hear back the following week to schedule an interview with the two founders. After a few weeks with no updates, I followed up with HR for a status update, but I never received a response. It’s now been about two months since the interview, and I haven’t heard anything back at all. It’s frustrating to put in that much time and effort only to be left hanging. Sadly, this seems to happen more and more these days, but it doesn’t make it any less disappointing and unprofessional, to say the least.
