Entrevista
HR reached out to me, informed me I had been selected for a pre-screening interview. Was asked to complete a written test (three different writing tasks, designed to be completed in 5 hours, given a 24-hour window to do so).
Spoke with only someone from HR, not someone from the Legal team, so I didn't get to ask many substantive questions. Also was in contact with 3 or 4 different HR people, and they kept sending conflicting information. Never received the email address of the person who interviewed me, so I was unable to send a follow-up thank you.
Never got a response from the office, even though I followed up with (one of) my contact points in HR. Deeply frustrating that I was expected to jump through hoops and I was required to produce three writing samples, when HR can't be bothered to send an email to rejected candidates (there were only about 8-10 shortlisted candidates, so a brief email would have been appropriate).

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Open Society Foundations (New York, NY).
Entrevista
The process took several months, and included a very pleasant team of people. I was asked questions about my experience solving a difficult legal issue. Although I received an offer and would have accepted, the pay offered was simply too low for the market (NYC), because the particular position I interviewed for was not unionized, unlike other positions. To give some context, the position required about 4 years of experience as an attorney, yet was paying an entry-level salary. Great team, though, and great mission.
