In the interview I was asked about my previous work and research experience. I was asked about coding questions ( C and basic algorithms like sorting, pointers, memory related) and in the technical round on power systems questions like following
1) What is SCADA? Functionalities
2) Questions on power flow, types of buses, input and output variables, constraints for power flow, techniques to solve power flow and their limitations
3) State Estimation, constraints techniques used, input and output variables, power flow and state estimation difference
4) Distribution Managment system, typical functionalities. How is model of transmission line different from distribution lines
5) Economic Dispatch, Security Control Optimization, Unit Commitment, Area Control Error , (constraints and technique used for all)
6) An linear optimization problem to solve using least square error
