I spoke with two gentlemen in the interview and red flags popped up that put a bad taste in my mouth. Some of the comments during the interview made it seem aparent that micromanagement was very probable. I was told directly that if I had any intentions of being a slacker they would be sure to get rid of me, which came off very blunt and obnoxious. It's fine to be veteran owned company, but don't come at potential hires as if they are some plebeian that must be set in line before even working with them. I prompty alerted my third party recruiter that I was backing out of the interview process and was no longer interested. About a week or so later one of the guys I spoke to from OST texted me directly to set up an interview with the prime. Since I had been interviewing with multiple companies, I mistakenly accepted the interview not realizing OST were the ones requesting. I texted back that I would be backing out of the interview because I was not interested as they had already been told. That too was ignored, the interview did not get cancelled, and this ended in what seemed as if I had ghosted the prime at the scheduled interview time. I think it's little wonder why OST appears to always be hiring.
