HM interview:
It seemed like they already had an idea of who they wanted to move forward with as the HM was removed/detached in the conversation we had. They asked a series of questions for 25 minutes and only left 5 minutes for me to ask questions. It was pretty intense compared to the recruiter call that was very conversational.
Process:
Recruiter screen
HM interview
HW assignment
on-site interview
role play exercise
head of sales call

Was given a take home test after being introduced to the hiring manager for the GTM team who said my qualified background with closing AE experience was perfect for their Account Associate role (which is a step down, technically) and she'd love to get me in the ring for it.
The test consisted of two prompts for 1-page essays on which company I would target for specific OpenAI products, plus a 3 minute intro video. You have 5 biz days to complete, and they say it "shouldn't take more than two hours", but if you're committed to crushing the exercise, it should take quite a bit longer than that with research, multiple reviews, and feedback from peers before submitting (just what I did).
IMO this is more like work of an AE than an AA, but I can see why they'd want to understand my experience/thought processing. I don't have AI background, which I humbly cited in my video, and I didn't think the prompts were necessarily hard, but I spent considerable time formulating my responses on the basis of what would be a 'painkiller versus a vitamin' customer need for the companies I chose - basically a "need to have" over a "nice to have" solution from OpenAI.
I submitted my carefully curated responses plus my video which consisted of a brief self intro and citing why I was most excited for the future of AI utilizing a personal experience and tying it into a highly anticipated product release from OpenAI that had just been announced publicly a few days prior.
I heard back via email two days later that they would not be continuing with my candidacy, and declined to give any constructive feedback. I get there's a competitive pool of candidates, but this was disappointing after the work/research/efforts I put forth.
A brilliant PM friend also interviewed through multiple rounds and was abruptly rejected without feedback - it's clear they're a tad arrogant and rejecting amazing candidates with strong and qualified backgrounds.
