I wasn't actively looking but their corporate recruiter reached out to me and it sounded like an intriguing opportunity! The recruiter was very friendly and I was excited enough to consider going through the process.
Interview process was quick and only took about two weeks. I spoke with the recruiter, manager and CEO.
I got to interview with the CEO as a final interview and I thought that was really cool since it showed that the high level executives are involved in the process and care about the people they hire.
It was a challenging but pleasant interview and it was awesome to learn about the company history from the man that started it all.
I didn't end up with an offer but it was a great interview experience and everyone was super nice.

Very disappointing screening experience.
I only had an initial call with the recruiter and decided not to move forward based on how the company and role were presented. I joined the call two minutes late due to a camera issue and apologised, but the response was quite cold and focused on punctuality rather than the conversation.
Throughout the call, there was a strong emphasis on questioning the length of time I spent in previous roles, suggesting it could be viewed negatively. When I asked for more details about the position, I was told everything was already in the job description and that I should avoid asking general questions and instead “do my research.”
I was also told the company avoids using too many internal communication channels to prevent employees from getting distracted. When I asked about company culture, I was told they don’t really discuss it because the company is remote and therefore “there isn’t one.”
I cannot speak for the company overall, but the way the role and environment were presented came across as quite discouraging and gave me the impression of a very rigid work environment.

Standard phone and video interview. They made me take a aptitude test that was timed before I was asked a brain teaser about how I would determine how much money a typical Starbucks would make in a week my first phone interview. After the test I interviewed with one of their HR personnel. At the end of the interview I was asked a question about how I would determine how much money a typical Starbucks would make in a week. I guess this company thinks people who apply are either dumb or aren’t smart enough to work there. The whole process was very strange. The final interview i had with the project manager of the team I was interviewing for wasn’t very friendly and rather grumpy. I didn’t make it to the CEO interview, but after reading other interview reviews here, it’s kind like a blessing I didn’t.
