I was contacted shortly after applying to schedule an interview with HR. I had a good video call interview and was told I will be hearing from the hiring manager within the week. I never heard from this person, and when I followed up with HR I never got a reply. I think ghosting a candidate in any job climate is wrong, but especially in a pandemic it comes off as very out of touch. It feels like I dodged a bullet here.
