Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 dia. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Ovente (Culver City, CA).
Entrevista
I arrived 20 minutes early, and ended up waiting approximately 2 hours for the interview. Upon having waited that long, the manger who was set to interview me didn’t apologize, nor did she even interview me at all — she delegated the task to another staff member who could’ve interviewed me at the set time. I was told I would receive a phone call later that day and I never heard from them. Some things are blessings though, because I read the Glassdoor reviews after the interview and can now see that it would’ve been a negative work experience.
So much could be said, but it all boils down to respect. And I now have learned to never wait that long for an interview, even when I am promised that an interviewer will arrive in 20 minutes (every 20 minutes). Sigh.

FREE spec work to test out to see if you are the right match with company style with out any phone or personal interview. Not to mention they don't give you a heads up. Instead, they just demand you to draft up a design to submit on final die-line for mass production (probably asking for free ideas for them to run the design). They don't have the respect for creative talent's time nor their skills. It's companies like this bullies the creative talents and drives down the talent rate.
If this is how they treat their potential candidates, imagine what it'll be like when you actually got hired!

It was smooth and unofficial. It seems they were not looking for any specific skill just looking for a cheap candidate. Preferably someone with no experience or limited experience and low expectations. No insurance, benefit or etc. They also offered no vacation paid or unpaid and you could risk your job if you go to vacation more than 1 week in year. It was not fair at all.
