After a first very good conversation with the R&D manager who assured me I would pass to the second round with HR, was rudely rejected by HR by a clearly standard mail. I have the feeling HR is not so happy about the enormous amount of applicants they have after making that much advertisements and filling their site claiming they are 'different'.

Whether I was a good fit in the company regarding research mentality
Got contacted by an external talent scout, had a first call and after a few days a lengthy teams meeting with them. After that there would have been an interview with the company, but never heard back from them despite the scout told me they would hear from the company soon a couple of times. After more than a month with no news, it's safe to say no offer was made.
