I got past the initial call and video interview and then progressed to the in person interview in a matter of a week which seemed rather rushed. The in-person interview was fairly standard with the hiring managers being professional and polite. They did bring up some fairly major duties in the interview that weren't on the job spec though a bit sus.
Anyway I left feeling like I did well, I then waited 2 1/2 weeks to then receive a generic rejection email. This email was the typical corporate waffle saying due to the early stage of my application I couldn't get any feedback, this obviously was rubbish as they had literally seen me for a final interview?! I sent them an email back being rather nice and asking for some feedback and I wanted to improve on my interview technique and see why I didnt get it etc. I sent this a solid month ago and haven't heard back.
I hate to sound bitter as I understand that I might not have been right for the job but this hiring process is impersonal and typifies how frustrating the job hunt is.

How do you like to operate in a team?
What are your main strengths?
First stage of the recruitment process involved a 15 minute call with the recruiter for the role. The second stage was then a 30 minute interview with the hiring manager.
Despite the face to face contact, there was no feedback offered which was useless. Then a week later the post for the role was posted online.
People would benefit from feedback as it's a two way process. Consider this for the future.
