The interview process was fairly quick and average for the role. It centered on discussing my professional experience, assessing how well I’d fit within the team, and reviewing specific examples of my work and key accomplishments.

The communication from the recruiter was only via text, which threw me off a bit. When I met with my manager it all went smoothly and efficiently. Once recruiting was involved again it was just emails being sent to do background checks (but I had to confirm that I was actually receiving them from PennyMac).
