Interview went well. It was through a video app and I spoke to two managers. Both were very nice. A week later, I got an offer. They met the highest salary of the salary range I asked for, which was nice of them. I messaged another company I interviewed with that PNC had made an offer and that if they gave me an offer, it would have to be >15% in salary than what I originally asked for (of course, I was a formal and nice in the way I asked, not like how I'm writing it here). That company did just that, and gave me an extremely good offer. I later contact the HR at PNC and ask if is any flexibility in the compensation package, which she said possibly. She told me it'd take 5 days to get an answer from upper management. I said okay. Later that evening, I get an automated message saying "the loan analyst position has been removed and you are no longer a candidate" or something along those lines. Not being selected is perfectly fine; it didn't bother. However, I thought it was completely unprofessional that they communicated it through an automated message. I assume PNC has a decent HR department; why wouldn't they just reach out by email or phone? So for that, I rate the experience in total 3/5 stars.
