It was a fairly typical interview process for a tech company. There was an initial screening with an in-house recruiter, then a technical screening with an engineer, and then several more rounds of technical interviews including an architecture interview, a coding challenge, and a general/behavioral interview with a manager.

5 step interview process composed of: * Technical Screen * Systems Design Exercise * Coding Challenge * Hiring Manager interview * Final interview with Head of Engineering Technical screen covered a broad range of topics ranging from CS concepts to Python internals to Coding practices. System design exercise was a whiteboard exercise where a problem was posed and an architecture was to be drawn to address the system. Coding exercise was a pair programming exercise on a relatively difficult example of a standard class of coding problem. The remaining fit interviews were a set of interview questions with hiring manager and a relatively relaxed conversation with Head of Engineering about experience and motivations. Great interview process in all. Interviewers knew that the interview was challenging but it conducted in good spirit.
