Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 4 dias. Fui entrevistado pela Panasonic em mar. de 2016
Entrevista
The interview consisted of:
- 60 to 90 minute test
- meet with hiring manager (45 min)
- individual interviews by technical staff (45 min each)
The test took place inside a conference room.
I was by myself on a laptop. The test was a Word doc that had questions on it.
I nailed that test. I answered almost every single question correctly and it was a long test.
The hiring manager was great. She was on top of things and gave good feedback.
One interviewer asked some really good and challenging questions (which I got mostly right).
But one interviewer never read my resume. He told me so as the interview started.
And instead of going over my resume he spent his time responding to emails.
He never asked me about my higher level programming skills and concentrated on my lower-level programming skills that were related to my current job.
If he would have looked at my resume he would have realized that I actually have done high-level programming my entire career but he wasn't doing his job of finding about about my experience.
The feedback was that the hiring manager wanted to hire me but that I didn't have high-level programming experience due to the technical staff feedback.
I may or may not be qualified for this position but the technical staff's feedback is probably not accurate due to a lack of due diligence.
I am very disappointed with this experience and I am glad they did not hire me.
I liked the interview questions. They were good filter questions.
I liked the hiring manager. She really understood people.
Hiring managers should depend on their technical guys to vet candidates but if they are not are not doing their job to get to know candidates then the process is doomed to fail.
