Spoke to a recruiter, then I was asked to fill out a form with several questions about past experience for HR.
I had a phone interview with the hiring manager to review my resume and that went well.
I come in for an in person interview. It was scheduled by a coordinator who was very responsive and helpful.
I came in and was greeting promptly by the the coordinator taking me to the interview . This young woman gave me a great overview of the company as we walked to my scheduled appointments. The first person I was meeting with was an interview consultant/HR person.
She was late and not in her office. When she did arrive she was 30 minutes late then wasted my time for about 30 minutes blaming HR and the recruiters on her short coming. This woman was angry, bashing people and unpleasant, it was disturbing. I told her we attempted to call her and didn't mind that she was late.
It happens.
She asked me questions she was reading off a sheet of paper. Some were strange personality questions and some were about past employers. She was writing down my answers, and not always with what I actually answered. She was oddly hostile and argumentative in her mannerism. I asked her about the company culture and she rudely told me it wasn't her job to answer that type of question. It was unreal how poorly she was behaving and sad she was representing panasonic.
The second person I met with was wonderful. She went over what I had done in the past shared with me what they are doing moving forward. She representing the company with pride and it was very clear she is the type of manager that meets her goals.

Asked by HR/interview consultant
What do you do when someone is being difficult?
This lady responded to all my answers with "what if that doesn't work"
The nicer you are to this interview consultant the more she will try and make you look bad and bully you. I was not able to figure what she was trying to accomplish.

The process was straightforward. An internal recruiter reached out to me. I sent her my resume within a week. Over a month later another internal recruiter called to schedule a phone screen interview. The first was a 30 min. phone screen with the hiring manager, which surprised me as that it is usually the internal recruiter or HR person. Basic questions were asked such as tell me about yourself and what you've done and a quick overview of the company. The second round (3 weeks later) was onsite with the hiring manager, two manager of engineering, and the manager of human development. Discussion with hiring manager was more about the company and what I've done but also some business ideas. The both Engineering Manager were more of the technical experience I had. The second Engineering Manager really didn't say much. Both interviews were conversational. The human development manager has a Phd in psychology. She owned the behavioral portion of the interview process. The interview with the human development manager was not conversational as she had a list of questions on a piece of paper that she read from and wrote my answers on.
