Entrevista
I spoke with 2 members of the team involved in the hiring process for a corporate role. The process appeared structured and involved multiple rounds, but the tone of the conversations stood out compared to most interview experiences I’ve had.
The discussions felt quite intense and more interrogative than conversational. Many questions were followed by rapid challenges or attempts to poke holes in responses, which made the experience feel less like a dialogue about experience and more like a series of “gotcha” moments.
I also found the overall tone somewhat cold and not particularly welcoming. There didn’t seem to be much effort to create a comfortable or collaborative environment, and at times the questioning style came across as slightly unprofessional. Instead of exploring my background or thought process, the focus often felt like it was on challenging answers rather than understanding the work itself.
After the initial conversations, I ultimately chose not to continue with additional rounds. The experience left me wondering what the day-to-day culture might feel like if the interview style reflects how people interact internally.
Overall: The process seemed organized, but the interview tone felt unusually adversarial and not particularly candidate-friendly compared to most corporate interviews I’ve experienced.
