I applied online for a Clinical Scientist role but was contacted for a Biomedical Analyst position instead, which I felt overqualified for. Still, I proceeded.
The process included a phone screening, written assessment, second-round interview with presentation, and a brief meeting with the CEO. Communication was inconsistent, with long delays and last-minute rescheduling. Interviewers were often late, making it seem like the team was overworked and didn’t value candidates’ time.
The CEO was unaware of the role I applied for, asked what I knew about it, and then described expectations that didn’t align with previous discussions. After the final interview, I was completely ghosted—no rejection, offer, or follow-up.
Interviewed with the COO. He was very condescending and mansplained half the time. Also, not a very diverse team- says a lot about their culture. Asked about the salary offered for the role and he refused to answer the question, saying it is "competitive". Steer clear.
